To start, this powerful motor gives the pump the ability to generate 13 feet of lift, meaning that it can pump diesel from a tall tank without any issues. It also can send diesel fuel up to 100 feet in distance, for people who need to be able to fuel far from the tank. But the biggest feature is the continuous duty cycle. Because of the strength and durability of the motor, the Hornet W85 diesel transfer pump self-primes and doesn’t require any downtime between fill-ups, unlike other motors which may only have a 30 minute duty cycle before needing to cool. The Hornet W85 is equipped with a thermal protection mechanism, which is generally only triggered when dry-run and shouldn’t be triggered during regular use.

The 10,000 RPM motor on the Diesel W85 variant will give you a steady 22 GPM at the nozzle. It also facilitates great suction lift and fast priming. The Hornet W85 is also available DEF as a separate model, with the ability to push it through standard DEF hose reels up to 100 feet.
