The bypass feature is a great function; it will give you peace of mind that your system will be reliable for a long time and won’t be damaged if it’s left running. Out in the field many things can happen, and one of the most common issues is that the system is left on, causing pressure to build up inside of it. The bypass feature alleviates that problem by allowing a chamber inside the pump to open and circulate product. When the pump reaches 50 PSI, a spring will open, allowing product to circulate through a channel to keep the pressure from becoming too high.

This all translates into having a built-in, foolproof feature, which will extend the life of your pump by protecting it from leaks and untimely pump failure. This is just one of a handful of smart features built into this portable oil dolly – the PRO-5000 Oil!
